I remember when I first met Gareth. I was on the run from the underground 'law' in Marrakesh, and Ross Wynn told me that he had a car and were heading to Cairo to deliver a few gigabytes of RAM from an underground Japanese manufacturer to a team of Isreali hackers moving through to Frankfurt via Egypt.

The new items published under this topic are as follows.During my time in the bootleg psychologist recordings trade in North Africa (primarily in Marrakesh and Cairo), I went my the moniker of "Hound". I used to operate mostly out of the Kikuho Rose sushi restaurant and massage parlour, under the Yamashiro Dragon Hotel. (The Kikuho Rose served what was admittedly the worst sushi I had ever eaten, and yet the best sushi in all of Marrakesh - it was a sad time for sushi in Africa in the late 80's). I had just made a deal and scored a block of bootleg psychologist sessions taped in the office of Dr Usurious Svengali. I had swapped them for a human arm in a gilded birdcage (a long story, trust me), and had them in a shoebox with "Live Mice" scrawled on the lid in black marker, along with a few small holes for the supposed mice to breathe.
I guess it was the third or fourth time Dave and I had met on opposite sides of the bootlet psychologist recordings trade. We were at the Kikuho Rose sushi restaurant, under the Yamashiro Dragon Hotel, which served admittedly the worst sushi I had ever eaten, and yet the best sushi in all of Marrakesh (it was a sad time for sushi in Africa, in the late 80's).
Dextra, I remember when you left for Borneo to learn some traditional meditation and shamanic methods from the natives there. We had been shacked up together in that small apartment in mechanicsville, but the 'lease' was expiring, you had the offer in Borneo, and I was looking at heading to Marrakesh to see what it had to offer (which in turn led me to Cairo with Blinky, where I first met Jaysin).
