The Ingram M11 is still running out there in America. This 9mm automatic pistol is made by MasterPiece Arms and shows its Ingram lineage with one major change, the side cocking handle to allow for the use of a proper scope.

I mentioned the TMP in the entry for the Brügger & Thomet MP9, but I saw this great photo of the original and it really caught my eye.
While Steyr gave up on the design due to lack of sales, the design obviously has something going for it besides sleek looks, with B&T now re-releasing it with some new modifications.
Maybe if they rechamber it for a PDW caliber instead of the standard 9mm it will finally break through.

An uglier handgun from an earlier age, the Tokarev was the standard Russian / Soviet sidearm from 1934 to 1952 when it was replaced by the 9mm Makarov, although it continued in service with the army into the 1960’s and the militia into the 1970’s. The gun was obviouosly not designed for a civilian market as it has no safety features whatsoever, and an uncomfortable grip even compared to most other automatics of it’s day.
