The following are maps I designed for playing classic RISK online. Currently these maps are available to be played on at LandGrab .

This map concept was based on two different maps of Mars. The first is one by Foist on Landgrab which has a few continents completely enveloped in other continents. This became the basis for this entire map - the continents exist in pairs with a 1-point three-space continent completely help within another 2-point three-space continent.
The second source was the 2210 FrontLine Mars map, which included non-continental territories to help break up the continents when water wasn't enough. Together, they give us the City States of Dorren. |

This map was my first "real" attempt at a new map for RISK. When I first put it together it had too many choke points makeing too many continents very easy to hold. After a few revisions, I feel that this version actually has too few choke points, with almost every continent having access to almost every other one.
Lacking creativity at the time of upload, I named the continents and territories after albums, band names and musical genres of Industrial music. |

This map was my first attempt to make a new map on LandGrab. It was hand-drawn instead of computer-designed and is based on a VERY ugly geometric map by Jupitersking (another Landgrab user).
It isn't all that pretty, but it becomes a very harsh map later in the game when reduced to 3 players or less. I like it because it is a small map with only four continents, lots of choke points, and the central island is worth owning but makes you a big target. |
